About me.

A professor once responded to one of my film pitches by saying it was by far one of the most crazy and out there ideas he had ever heard.

You thought of something out of the box… Will it get made? I have no idea, but I do know that whoever would present this idea would get the attention of the higher ups in the room.

Since then, I have been trying to turn heads and shift cultures.

A quick witted, spitballing leo, I am always pitching. Where we should get takeout from, what show you absolutely must watch, why we just NEED another dog, and how we are going to do all of those things. If I get really excited, my Jersey accent might just slip out.

In my free time, you can either find me somewhere eating a big cone of mint chocolate chip ice cream or with my eyes glued to the TV screen binging the latest big thing.

On a good day, I'm doing both.

Why TV & Film?

I truly believe that entertainment is indispensable. Now more than ever that has proven to be true. Back in 2020, I found myself escaping the realities and uncertainties of graduating during a world-wide pandemic and the many other century-defining events happening everyday since by immersing myself in other worlds, both scripted and unscripted.

I want to make content that changes people: their perceptions, their minds, and most importantly their hearts. I am looking to make content that affects people as much as my favorite content has affected me.

Favorite Shows

Queer Eye

You can name any episode produced so far, every single one has brought me to tears (and I am not normally a crier).

Schitt’s Creek

I love this show because it shows how much depth a comedy can truly hold. The writers tackled so many important topics, while maintaining hilariously over the top characters that stay true to themselves.

P.S. - I was a fan before it was cool at the Emmy’s!

Good Girls

This show resonates with me because I love how each character has their own rich storyline and unique reason for committing the crimes they carry out together. It has its moments where it is fun or over the top, but their motivations speak to real issues people face today in our society.

The Office.

It’s a classic, need I say more? Throughout all four years of college, if I was in my dorm then The Office was probably playing in the background. No matter how many times I watch it, the writing never stops amazing me.

I love shows about real people that explore the human condition.

Favorite Films

This is an interesting lineup… I know.

Toy Story 4

I will never be too old for what may be deemed a children’s movie. I am awed by the medium of animation and creating worlds and characters that are otherwise impossible.

Gone Girl

This movie instantly became one of my favorites. It is beautifully shot, incredibly acted, and sharply directed. It kept me on the edge of my seat and taught me how stories can be art.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

For me, this movie is the ultimate escape from reality, which is fitting since it is all about daydreams! It is a movie I have consistently turned to during hard times because it is whimsical yet poignant to me. It’s stunning cinematography certainly cannot be overlooked. The way I turn to this movie when I am down is the way I hope viewers turn to my content one day.
