PRINCESS
Head of Production
Princess is the brainchild of my Advanced TV Production Capstone. It is a concept for an 8 episode limited series. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the filming of the pilot episode was forced to be shut down. Adapting to the circumstances, we chose to instead create a website where our idea could live in a fully expanded form. In lieu of our final screening, the project was instead pitched to the Director of Original Programming at BET.
Logline: When a figure from her dark past shows up bloodied on her doorstep, a young woman is forced to reevaluate her family’s callous values and confront escalating racial tensions on her predominantly white campus. She must shed her past before she can ever determine her future.

Oversaw the writer’s room; Gave development notes on script and season arc
Casting
Created the casting call; Aided in research with Casting Directors; Oversaw the casting call
Web Design
Worked with Branding on the development and design of our site
Production
Worked with Production team to build the world of our story, which includes: location scouting, prop research, and more.
